Privacy, stated plainly.

Estatar is operated by Ray & Rise LLC, 4030 Wake Forest Road, Suite 349, Raleigh, NC 27609. This notice explains the limited information used to operate Estatar, respond to an inquiry, and provide the site's research tools. It does not cover third-party websites or services, which have their own policies.

Information you choose to provide

When you use the contact form, we receive your first name, last name, email address, optional phone number, and message. That information is used to respond to your inquiry. Submitting a contact form does not subscribe you to email updates.

If you use a scheduling link, the booking service collects the information you provide there and sends appointment details to us. Your use of that service is also governed by its own privacy policy.

Email updates

Email updates are separate and optional. When you enter an email address in an Estatar updates form, we store your email address, consent source, and subscription status so that we can send a confirmation email and, after confirmation, occasional Estatar guides, insights, and local updates. We use a double-opt-in confirmation step; we do not add an address to the updates list until its owner confirms the request. Every update email will include a way to unsubscribe.

Property research and routine site information

Estatar and ParcelCard process the address, record identifier, or other search terms you submit in order to return a requested result. We do not offer user accounts or build individual visitor profiles from those searches. Like most online services, our hosting, security, and service providers may process routine technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the site.

Service providers and external links

We use service providers for hosting, site security, email delivery, scheduling, and site performance measurement. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it is used for aggregate site-performance and traffic measurement, not behavioral advertising. We also use Google Fonts. Links and embedded or referenced material may take you to county, municipal, listing, brokerage, event, mapping, or other third-party services; those providers receive information under their own policies when you visit them.

How information is used and shared

We use information to operate the site, answer inquiries, arrange requested conversations, maintain security, and understand aggregate site performance. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use contact-form information for targeted advertising. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to perform these functions, to comply with law, or to protect the site and its users.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain ordinary business records, resolve issues, or meet legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not send financial account numbers, government IDs, or other sensitive information through the contact form.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted by emailing contact@estatar.com. Some information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, recordkeeping, or legal purposes. Estatar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Embedded rate and payment tools

The North Carolina mortgage-rate table is provided by ERATE. The Estatar mortgage payment estimate runs in your browser and does not send the amounts you enter to Estatar. ERATE may receive routine technical information under its own privacy policy when you use its embedded rate table. Do not enter financial account numbers, government IDs, or other sensitive information into any site tool.

One Wrong puzzle feedback

Puzzle progress and a separate random feedback token for each puzzle are stored in your browser. Ratings use that token to let you change your vote without counting it twice. We store a hashed token, puzzle release, rating, and optional difficulty choice for up to 30 days of reporting; expired records are removed when feedback is next received. Tokens differ for each puzzle and do not identify returning visitors. Clearing browser storage removes local progress and voting preferences.

Optional written suggestions are emailed to contact@estatar.com and are not stored in the analytics database. Please do not include personal or property details. Studio browser exclusion and preview mode also exclude puzzle feedback. Email records remain in our mailbox until deleted.
